quote

Here is a quote from the landartist Andy Goldsworthy, that I like a lot. I read it to Boris the last Saturday and he asked me to put it on the blog:

Movement, change, light, growth and decay are the lifeblood of nature, the energies that I try to tap through my work. I need the shock of touch, the resistence of place, materials and weather, the earth as my source. Nature is in a state of change and that change is the key to understanding. I want my art to be sensitive and alert to changes in material, season and weather. Each work grows, stays, decays. Process and decay are implicit. Transcience in my work reflects what I find in nature.

A demain!

Last Saturday

Hello,

This is what happened last Saturday at Belgica:
Susanne, Barbie, Boris, Gabriel and Hanna came. Warm up given by Boris, from the space between the fingers we came to spirals. and spirals proved to be very inspiring, in the improvs later on they came up all the time. So i was wondering if there is a link between spiral, inspiration, spirit, and the french inspiration (inhale).

Boris was struggling with his concentration as Gabriel was demanding a big chunck of it. So he performed two duets together with him. Gabriel proved to be a great talent in performing.

quote from a solo of Susanne:
'Genetic info patterns in monkeys are green. DNA. Douglas Norman Adams. He wrote about the life universe in everything.'
in conversation: 'Animals come to me all the time'.

Barbara let herself be inspired by spirals, and didn't speak one word in her solos.

can't come this week :( need to earn some money to pay my rent...
see you very soon, i hope.
